IATA

The IATA transport is one of the oldest forms of airfreight transport and is executed on the basis of a freight contract drawn up between the consignor and the airline of his choice. With the increasing popularity of Consolidated Cargo airfreight shipments, IATA transports have fallen somewhat out of favor, but in certain circumstances, they still offer clear advantages. For example, they lower the cost of handling imports once the goods in question reach the country of destination, and they speed up throughput times at the airports of arrival and destination.
